Subject: Icon Vidgets
Errors-To: icon-group-errors@cs.arizona.edu
I just received the June issue of the Icon Newsletter and it contains
screen shots of student projects from a graphics programming course
in which Icon was used. Several of the screen shots show windows
with 3D sculpted controls (buttons, scrollbars). How did they create
these controls? The Vidgets provided in the current version of the
Icon programming library don't seem to provide a 3D appearance.
I doubt if these programs were created without access to some
preexisting widget-like functionality.
